Spend Christmas in Oaxaca

Far Horizons is sponsoring a nine-day Christmas trip to Oaxaca that highlights the colorful celebrations of the season, the magnificent archaeological heritage of the region and the unique folk art for which Oaxaca is known. The trip will be led by art historian Dr. Kent Reilly, assistant professor of anthropology at Southwest Texas State University. The price ($2595) includes all land and air arrangements, hotel accommodations in a Colonial-style hotel near the zócalo, private talks and demonstrations by the region’s most renowned artisans, and guided visits to Monte Albán and Mitla. The trip also includes a visit to a private home to participate in the posadas and the celebration of the Night of the Radishes.
