How to get there?
The peaceful gated community of La Punta
in Manzanillo, Mexico, is found along Mexico's Pacific Gold Coast in the
State of Colima. Manzanillo's Playa de Oro International airport is just a
30-minute drive south to the Palace. La Punta is a 3 1/2 hour tollway drive
from Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city, enabling guests to take
advantage of lower Guadalajara air fares.
Airlines: Getting to Palace by the Sea is
simple with several direct non-stop flights available on a variety of
carriers. AeroCalifornia and Alaska Airlines both offer non-stop flights to
Manzanillo from Los Angeles International airport (LAX) several times a
week. America West airlines flies non-stop from Phoenix between December and
April, and Continental airlines has non-stop service from Houston
International airport. Mexican charter company, Magnicharters, provides
direct non-stop flights to Manzanillo from Mexico City. And Canadian charter
Transat Holidays flies direct during winter months to Manzanillo from
Toronto, Montreal, Saskatoon, Calgary and Vancouver.
