This
is the place I always stay. It has been very popular since it opened in the
mid-seventies, especially for the crowd that doesnt like to spend big money
on accommodations. Very nice pool area and inner courtyard filled with palms and
plants. For slightly more money, request a room in the newer section, preferably
with private patio. This isnt one of the large, world-class resorts, but is
fun and a good place to meet others. Restaurant, bar and tourist services on
premises. Doubles from $46 US.
The
Resorts.
There are many to choose from, ranging from intown to several miles out. My
favorites are La Palmilla, Hacienda Beach Resort, Hotel Twin Dolphin, Hotel Cabo
San Lucas and the new Los Ventanas al Paraiso, voted Latin Americas best in
Conde Nast Traveler magazine. Price range starting from $100 to $400 per
night. A quick internet search can help you decide where you might want to stay.
Just type in Cabo San Lucas on your search engine and youll be in business.
Or try www.loscabosguide.com for a complete list,
including condo rentals. If it is important to be in town and walking distance
to the clubs, restaurants, etc., choose appropriately.
